Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the morning, you will be met by our driver guide and after introductions head to pullman’s for check-in and refreshment. You then visit the Kenya National Museum where old culture, history and artifacts are preserved. You later visit some of the historical sites in Nairobi town such as old parliament buildings, first Kenyan president mausoleum, heroes’ memorial site and government offices. Dinner and overnight at the Pullman Nairobi upper hill hotel.

 

Day 2: Nairobi - Kiambu Coffee Farm - Bomas

After morning breakfast visit a Kiambu coffee farm and factory and see how coffee is harvested, processed and packed. You will have a chance to taste a sweet cup of coffee which is a thrilling experience. Have lunch at a picnic sport and relax. In the afternoon visit the Bomas of Kenya for amazing traditional songs and dances. Dinner and overnight at the Pullman Nairobi upper hill hotel.

 

Day 3: Nairobi - Nyeri

After early morning breakfast check out from the hotel and head towards Nyeri in the Central highlands of Kenya. On the way, you will enjoy sites of green plantations of pineapples and bananas. Have a stopover at the Karatina Market which is biggest in East Africa and see how the local communities trade with foods and commodities. You arrive in Nyeri town along the Aberdare ranges for lunch. Later visit the Lord Baden Powell site and grave side. Baden Powell from England is the world-famous founder of the Scouting Movement in 1907 and started the same in Kenya in 1910. When the weather is clear in Nyeri can see Mt Kenya, second tallest mountain in Africa. Dinner and overnight at The Aberdare Country Club.

 

Day 4: Nyeri

After morning breakfast leave the hotel and heads to a tea plantation along the slopes of the Aberdare Ranges. You join the local farmers in harvesting tea. Enjoy the mouthwatering sweet traditional foods prepared by the locals. You’ll also have time to mingle and learn more about their history and cultures which they have sustained for long. Dinner and overnight at The Aberdare Country Club.

 

Day 5: Nyeri Aberdares - Lake Nakuru

After morning breakfast, take packed lunch and heads towards Lake Nakuru. On the way enjoys good sites of Mt Kenya (2nd tallest mountain in Africa) which local communities believes that their God lives at the top. In the afternoon visit the flamingoes’ lake that is referred as best bird’s paradise on earth and a unique UN World heritage sites. You have a chance to witness the rare white rhinos, black rhinos, buffaloes and Rothschild giraffes. Also take photos of greater and lesser flamingoes and other birds that are only found in Kenya. Dinner and overnight stay at sarova lion hill lodge.

 

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast check out and heads towards the most popular Lake Naivasha which is a flesh water lake in the Great Rift Valley. Later have a boat ride and an amazing walk in the lake only crescent island which also have much wildlife such as hippos and many birds species. Lake Naivasha is a fresh lake in the Rift Valley and one of the unique UN World heritages sites. Dinner and overnight stay at sarova lion hill lodge.

 

Day 7: Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara

After breakfast check out of your hotel and heads towards the famous Maasai Mara game reserve via Narok, one of the most popular Maasai town in the Rift Valley. Arrive in the afternoon and have enough time to check in your hotel, enjoy lunch and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the Tayari luxury Tented camp.

 

Day 8: Maasai Mara

After morning breakfast, take packed lunch and drive to the park and have a chance to witness many animals such lions, elephants, cheetah, leopards, zebras and buffaloes. Also are many species of birds such as vultures, hornbills, Maasai ostrich, crown cranes and marabou stocks. In the afternoon visit the Maasai villages for tradition songs and dances. The community is the most known in Kenya for their preserved their rich culture and heritage for centuries.  Dinner and overnight at the Tayari luxury Tented camp.

 

Day 9: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast check out from your Lodge and proceeds to Nairobi. Have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point that is an amazing place for photo taking.  Arrive in Nairobi for lunch and later you’ll be dropped at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your safe flight back home.
