Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and greeted by our safari
representative, who will assist you with your luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in
Arusha, Tanzania, where you can freshen up and relax. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the
Lodge.

Day 2: Arusha Town – Tarangire – Discover Tarangire

Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania’s Manyara Region. The name of the park
originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary
source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry
season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and
zebras. During the dry season thousands of animals concentrate in Tarangire National Park
from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. later, head to Tarangire National Park, which is
about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive by road. Once you arrive,spend the day exploring Tarangire’s rich
wildlife, known for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and diverse animal species like lions, giraffes, and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, after lunch break, continue your
game drive directing on the Tarangire River area a hotspot for wildlife. After your Tarangire
adventure, head toward the Karatu region for Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Visit “The Cradle of Mankind” Olduvai Gorge

After breakfast, you’ll drive towards Serengeti National Park, with a scenic stop at the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area viewpoint to admire the stunning Ngorongoro Crater and its abundant wildlife.
This ancient caldera, formed millions of years ago, is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including
lions, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos, all of which roam freely within its lush, fertile basin. With a
packed lunch, continue your journey to Olduvai Gorge, a key archaeological site Known as the
“Cradle of Humankind” where some of the earliest hominid fossils were discovered, shedding light
on the origins of human evolution. The site offers a fascinating sight into our prehistoric past and
the development of early human ancestors. After this fascinating stop, continue your journey to the
Serengeti for your dinner and overnight stay

Day 4: Uncover the Endless Plains and Follow the Great Migration

The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is a renowned wildlife destination, covering over 14,000
square miles of diverse landscapes, from plains to woodlands. Famous for the Great Migration, it
hosts millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, alongside predators like lions, leopards, and
cheetahs. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Serengeti offers unparalleled wildlife viewing and is
a must-visit for safari enthusiasts.

Start your day with an early breakfast. Later head for a full day game drive viewing the Serengeti,
one of the most iconic and biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. As you drive through the vast plains,you’ll have the chance to observe an incredible variety of animals from the Big Five (lions,
leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos) to countless species of antelope, giraffes, and birds that
call this incredible park home. The best part of the game drive is witnessing the Great Migration,
where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores move across the plains in search of
fresh grazing, closely followed by predators like lions and cheetahs. Your guide will help you track
the herds and offer insights into the migration’s challenges, making this a thrilling and unforgettable
wildlife experience.

Day 5: Bird’s Eye View of Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro

Begin your day with a hot-air balloon safari over the Serengeti, offering stunning aerial views of the
plains and wildlife, followed by a champagne bush breakfast in the heart of the wilderness.
Afterward, embark on your last game drive in the Serengeti, allowing one final opportunity to
explore the park’s rich wildlife. Whether you encounter a pride of lions, a herd of elephants, or a
solitary cheetah, the game drive will be the perfect way to wrap up your Serengeti adventure.
Following the game drive, enjoy a hot lunch at a picturesque picnic spot. In the afternoon, head to
the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll arrive in the evening hours to relax and reflect on
your unforgettable safari experience.

Day 6: Explore Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

The Ngorongoro Crater, located in northern Tanzania, is a large volcanic caldera formed around 2-
3 million years ago. It is one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in the world, often
referred to as the Garden of Eden. The crater is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including

elephants, lions, zebras, and rhinos, making it a prime safari destination. Its unique ecosystem
supports both grasslands and forests, and the floor of the crater is a natural enclosure that ensures
a high density of animals. Ngorongoro is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, noted for its natural
beauty and ecological importance.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The Crater,
often referred to as a natural zoo offers a permanent supply of water and grass, which supports a
wide variety of animals throughout the year. As you embark on a morning game drive, you’ll have
the opportunity to encounter the Big Five and other wildlife in this biodiverse. Enjoy a hot lunch with
stunning views of the Crater’s edge picnic spot. In the afternoon drive back to Arusha, passing
through beautiful landscapes as you reflect on your unforgettable safari adventure.
