Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park Via King's Palace Museum
At 8 am, you’ll be picked by your driver guide and transfer to Nyungwe National Park Via King’s Palace Museum; formal loyal capital of Rwanda to visit the replica of king’s palace and Inyambo cows. . Continue to Huye and visit the excellent Ethnographic Museum which houses one of Africa’s finest ethnographic collections. After a lunch stopover, you’ll proceed to the jungle for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk
Set off early to start your trek in search of chimpanzees in the picturesque surroundings of Nyungwe Forest National Park. Once located spend one hour with your distant cousins. In the afternoon, you will participate in a unique hand-on tea picking experience as well as enjoy the breathtaking scenery by walking in beautiful tea plantation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 3: Canopy Walk and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
This morning, after breakfast, go for a short hike that will amaze you with majestic views of the canopy walkway and dazzling wildflowers. The views from up here are stunning as you walk 60 m above the forest floor. After lunch, you will drive back to Volcanoes National Park for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Bisoke Hike and Drive Back To Kigali
Early morning hike to the summit of a Mt Bisoke, a dormant volcano in the Virunga Mountains reaching to 3,711m, you’ll be trekking through a number of different vegetation zones and a crater lake awaits at the top. Descend and later after lunch, you will drive back to Kigali
