Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by Responsible Travel Africa representative and transferred to the hotel in Kampala.

Day 2: Kampala Walking City Tour

Today begins with a visit to the Kampala City originally built on seven hills now widened and spread to over twenty-two hills. Day 3: Drive To Nshenyi Culture Village

Drive to Nsenyi Cultural Village where you will be introduced the traditional lifestyle of Banyankole people. You will have a stopover in Mbarara before the village. you will immerse yourself in the community through nature walks, visit homesteads and learn about the farming tools and techniques passed on through the ages. Dinner and overnight rest will be in Nsenyi Village

Day 5: Drive To Kibale National Park And Bigodi Swamp Walk

After breakfast, transfer to Kibale National Park you will one of the best places for bird-watching and chimpanzee viewing in Uganda. Arrive in time for lunch and later go for an evening walk around Bigodi Swamp. This swamp is unique in that it sits right at the junction of central African rainforests and the East African Rift Valley.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience

After breakfast, transfer to Kibale National Park you will one of the best places for bird-watching and chimpanzee viewing in Uganda. Arrive in time for lunch and later go for an evening walk around Bigodi Swamp. This swamp is unique in that it sits right at the junction of central African rainforests and the East African Rift Valley.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience

Wake up early, have breakfast, grab your packed lunch and accompany researchers into the forest for chimpanzee habituation experience. The chimpanzee groups involved are less accustomed to human presence that following and viewing them is both exciting and challenging. You will watch them leaving their overnight nest, observe them feeding, copulating, hunting, breastfeeding, resting, patrolling and displaying until it is time to build new nests around 7pm. Return to the lodge for an overnight.

Day 7: Batooro Village Walk

After breakfast, go for a village walk and learn about the Batooro daily life. stop by the village’s primary school, church, and traditional healer. Learn about the role of women in the village and traditional ceremonies. Overnight stay at the lodge

Day 8: Drive Back To Kampala

After breakfast, drive back to Kampala. After lunch spend the afternoon at leisure. Kampala’s night scene bangs every night of the week. In the evening head out to experience the city that doesn’t sleep. visit several Clubs that have different ambiances and you will definitely have a great chance of dancing, having fun and be singing the night away. Back to your hotel at whichever time you desire.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, your Responsible Travel guide will meet you at the lodge for your transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for departure.
